Active Member of the Italian Society of Periodontology (SIdP), of the European Federation of Periodontology (EFP) and of the Italian Society of Osseointegrated Implantology (SIO). International Member of the American Academy of Periodontology (AAP). Dental consultant of Juventus Football Club and of the Test Pilots of Alenia Aeronautics. Scientific consultant of the National Dental Pulp Laboratory, Boston MA. Fellow in the “Harvard Longitudinal Course in Periodontology and Implantology” at the Harvard Dental School and in the Post-graduate course “Excellence in Biomechanics” at the University of Siena.

Winner of the “Henry M. Goldman” Award for the Clinical Research at the 11th National SIdP Congress and of the National Award in Clinical Orthodontics at the 18th International SIDO Congress. Member of the Editorial Review Board of American Journal of Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopedics, reviewer ad hoc for Journal of Periodontology and Angle Orthodontists and referee for Progress in Orthodontics. Lecturer in several National and International Scientific Meetings, he has presented clinical works during the research sessions at the 11th SIdP International Congress, at Europerio 4 and Europerio 5, at the 89th and 90th AAP Annual Meetings, at Osteology 2007. Author of several papers on topics of Periodontology, Implantology, Regenerative Therapy and Ortho-Perio Interdisciplinary treatment.
