Douglas Deporter, DDS, PhD

Dr. Douglas Deporter has been a full-time member of the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Toronto since 1976. He is the Coordinator of the Oral Reconstruction Center, Discipline of Periodontology, a specialty program providing training in implant dentistry to periodontic residents and general dentists. He is co-inventor of the Endopore® Dental Implant device, and has worked in the field of implant dentistry research since 1983. He also maintains a part-time private practice in Periodontics & Implant Dentistry. He has given over 120 international presentations and authored numerous scientific manuscripts, primarily related to the development and clinical application of sintered porous-surfaced dental implants.
