The JIACD Oral Pathology Image Library

JIACD is launching an exciting new feature: The JIACD Oral Pathology Image Library.  This extensive collection will feature high quality photographs of dozens of the most commonly seen pathologic lesions of the oral cavity.

We ask everyone to participate in adding to this library.  If you have photographs of oral lesions with confirmed diagnoses, please send them to editors@jiacd.com and we will add them to the JIACD Oral Pathology Image Library for all to view.  We will list your name as the donor of the photograph.  Should you choose not to list your name, we will be happy to oblige.

The purpose of this image library is to provide a free resource for our entire profession.  How many times have you seen a lesion in the oral cavity and dug out your trusty old oral pathology textbook or atlas in an effort to formulate a differential diagnosis?  More often than not, the text will contain one or two photographs of each lesion.  Wouldn't it be great to have a free resource that provides multiple different photos of lesions seen and treated by your peers?  THIS is the purpose of the JIACD Oral Pathology Image Library.

We are currently assembling the initial image library.  If you would like to donate any photos, we encourage you to do so.  For more information, please contact editors@jiacd.com
