I have done a couple of cases. I have tried it for both sinus lift and GBR. I cant comment on the GBR because the cases are still cooking and I have not re-entered. The Sinus lift case went very well. I got alot of bone and was pretty solid.
In all the cases there was alot of inflammation of the tissue post-op for 3-4 weeks. I was nervous that they were infected. I seen the inflammation in all 5 cases that I did. I will let you know what happens on the GBR when I re-enter.
I saw a lecture by Dr. C Misch, he is doing some wonderful things with BMP. He is now using it with extremely blown out case as a socket graft and is getting really nice results.
Just got back from the AAOMS meeting and there was lots of data presented on BMP. Most good, but jury is still out. I think you have to be selective with your cases.
I have done a few cases had some nice results. Lots of inflammation and swelling secondarly so be prepared.

I would be interested in other opinions as well.
