Crestal Sinus lifts: What is your opinion

I have read a couple of articles doing crestal approach sinus lifts. Mostly with piezo but have read some classic articles by Summers and Fugazzatto? What are your views of the crestal approach? Could this be better then a lateral window?

Well, this is a confusing topic. Crestal lift is a closed lift. In my mind if you have less then 5 mm of bone I do it open. I think its crazy to do otherwise. Opinions?

Crestal Sinus lifts via Megagen Samuel lee kit.

I have done this alot more these days. I used to use osteotomes alot till I started working with Dr Lee's kit. The crestal approach has aloud me to cut down on the lateral windows. I havent done enough to say to buy or not but stay tuned.
