Endo success: What effects the overall success rate

In my opinion Endo treatment is getting bad rep in comparison to implant therapy. I hear speakers at conferences even go as far as if you need to do endo extract and do an implant as it is far more predictable. I think that is hogwash. Endo therapy is one of the cornerstones we have in dentistry. In my opinion endo success is reduced do to the following: 1) Not instrumenting properly 2) Missing canals 3) Inexperienced operators 4) Failure of restoring the endo treated tooth properly 5) No rubber damn used I can go on and on. But I think its unfair to judge endo therapy against implants. Thoughts?

Endo success factors
I am no endodontist but believe in Endo. I would love to hear fron an endodontist on this.
I do believe that restorative plays a huge role in the success of the endo procedure. If the case is not restored properly the case will fail due to leakage of fracture.
