External and internal resorption can it be repaired?

I have had patients with this and almost always have extracted and placed implants. What is the endo approach to this. Can they be repaired? What is the success rate?
I been using the powertome for a year and would not go back.
The Powertome uses a periotome tip to expand the socket and sever the pdl fibers. The Powertome taps only on the down stroke with an action similar to tapping a manual periotome with a mallet. The Powertome does not use a reciprocating action. The best technique for use of the Powertome is to locate the tip in the interproximal space, along the mesial facial or distal facial line angle where the bone tends to be the thicker. Once the tip is positioned, apply power to the device and sweep the hand piece along the face of the tooth while advancing the tip. The sweeping motion used is similar to the motion used to advance a periotome manually or the motion used once a manual periotome was advanced by tapping it with a mallet. Once the tip has been advanced to the apex of the socket, it can be swept across the facial side or the palatal side of the tooth. The tip can also be removed and repositioned. The tooth should be easy to remove with forceps once the tip has been swept completely around the tooth.
I have a cornucopia of information for you: binocular magnified loupes ( I use Designs for Vision); headlight (Sheervision Firefly is light and very bright); electric handpiece, to vary speed for sectioning teeth or releasing roots (Bien Aire); Surgical Burs: Schien surgical carbide #102-6643; Brasseler Med Diam Needle (diamond) # 859.31.010 & #859.36.010; Pulley system extractors: Easy-X-Tractor (A. Titan Instruments); Benex extraction system (Salvin). Hope this helps. Randy

Randy,
Thanks for the info. Where do you obtain the long diamonds and can you explain what the easy extractor is?
TY
resorption/extraction
Long, thin diamond burs and root picks; Easy Extractor; Piezo tips; lots of patience.
External or internal resorption: What is the best way to extract
External or internal resorption typically facture when removing or result in loss of the buccal plate.
What is the best way to extract in order to preserve the bone?
External and internal resorption can be repaired with MTA
MTA is a very nice material for this. You need a a microscope and good isolation. MTA holds up.
