Grand Dermis Soft Tissue Graft
Mon, 06/28/2010 - 12:50 — george.steinmet...
Grand Dermis is a new soft tissue graft by Grand Biologics. This product does not need to be refrigerated in order to sustain it's integrity. It will not show a significant color change or exhibit any necrotic tissue odor when used. The epidermal layer is removed while keeping an intact basement membrane, thus maintaing connective tissue components of the collagen matrix throughout sterilization procedures important in the formation of new tissue upon healing. This product is harvested and sterilized in a manner which lends itself to ore predeictable results for practioners. Grand Dermis has a two-year shelf life and stores at room temperature. AC Dermis VS Alloderm
I am a big alloderm user and dont have the color discoloration or smell you speak. If you cover it you get great results.
Are there any published papers on AC Dermis? What is the reference?
Thanks
Guy

ACD Dermis
Hi Dr our dermis is very similar to Alloderm but we have changed the recipe so to speak so ours has no oder and no discoloring and also since Tissue Bank Intl who are the pioneers in gamma irradiation they are able to sterilize it so it can be stored at room temp with a two year shelf. As I stated in my other response get me your email and I will be happy to get you pdf's as well as int touch with other Dr's who have used Alloderm for years and can tell you why they switched over.
