Infected site or a Dry socket: How long do you wait to place the implant??

If you have a infected site that you take out a tooth how long do you wait to place the implant? Also if you have a site that developed a dry socket how long before its safe to place the implant?
When I take out a tooth with a endodontic lesion or that is badly infected I will debride the area. If I feel I got rid of all the potential badness I will graft the site and come back 3 months later and place the implant. If the site is so bad that I feel I cannot remove all the infected tissue I will place PRGF, close the case and come back 3-4 months later and graft the residual defect then wait 5-6 months and place the implant.
Do Not Graft an infected site
Unless you can really remove the infected tissue, it is better not to graft.
I would love to hear other opinions.

Infected site: Depends on whether you can graft or not
