I think pedicle flaps are a great tool to have in your bag of tricks especially in thick tissue.

Sometime I hedge my bet and add emdogain or a CT graft underneath.

I do pedicle's when ever possible. It is a wonderful treatment option that has seemed to have been lost by periodontists.
