Having worked extensively with thes types of materials for 7 years or so ,this is a great material for handling characteristics ( due to the dihydrate mixed in with the hemihydrate ) but remember to mix it with your preferred graft material ( I have used mainly BTcp but also Bio-oss amonst others) if using as a graft material.
Otherwise use as a bio0resorbable membrane over graft material as BB will resorb quicker than the manufacturer states.

Robert Horowitz and myself have just sent for publication an extraction socket study treated with BondBone. Results were phenomenal with 100% vital bone at 4 months.
The applications I have used Bond Bone so far were:
1) Extraction sockets
2) Void filler around implants in immediate implant placement following extraction.
3) lateral ridge augmentation.
4)Sinus augmentation.
In the last two- sinus aug and ridge aug I used it in a mixture with a slow/non resorbing material such as xenograft and FDB allograft.
In non complete sockets I always use an additional membrane.
What is Bone Bond advantages over other Calcium Sulfate's?

Peter how do you find the handling of Bone Bond?
Peter how do you find the handling of Bone Bond? What do you feel the advantages are with the dihydrate mixed with hemihydrate?
Can this be used in extraction sockets alone without graft due to its nature?
Thanks,
Oliver

Ziv Bone Bond: Where do you see its applications
Besides sockets, do you have any other uses for it?
In the socket cases where they complete sockets? Would it be 100% with a bucall wall defect?

Medical Grade Calcium Sulfate: Bone Bond by MIS
I been using bone bone. It is a combination calcium sulfate. Very nice handling properties.
Here is a nice video that reviews it:
