Short implant systems: What is the best out there? What has the most success?
Thu, 08/12/2010 - 09:42 — Dr. Cohen
I am looking for a short implant system because I have some patients that dont want sinus lifts or have close IAN issues. What is the most predictable short implant system? Which system has the most success?
In the past I have used endopore implants with some success for patients with IAN issues. The problem with the implant is you have to make sure the surface is covered, if it exposes it will be a nightmare due to the sintered surface.
we represent hi tec implants - a 20 year old Israeli based company- they introduced the X6 which is a 6 x 6 size and has the 3.5 internal hex connection like Zimmer so prosthetically you have several choices plus the price is about 1/3rd that of Bicon- pricing is $125 for implant-
