Steven M. Roser, DMD, MD, FACS

Dr. Roser is currently the DeLos Hill Professor and Chief of oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, GA. He received his dental and medical degrees from Harvard University. Following completion of residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, MA, he joined the faculty at Harbor UCLA Medical Center in Torrance, CA. In 1981 he was appointed Division Director or Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Columbia University College of Dentistry and Director of the Presbyterian Hospital Dental Service in New York. During his twenty three years at Columbia, he was appointed as the Georg Guttman Professor of Craniofacial Surgery and developed a combined MD oral and maxillofacial surgery residency training program. In 2001 he was appointed as Director of Graduate Medical Education for NewYork Presbyterian Hospital. In 2004 he joined the faculty at Emory. In addition to his interest in education, since 1991, Dr. Roser has organized an annual international mission performing surgical repair of cleft lip/palate deformities.

He is married to Blythe Randolph who is Vice President and Chief Development Officer for ZooAtlanta. They reside in Atlanta.
