Dr. Scott Synnott received his Dental degree from the Medical College of Virginia and went on to receive his Certificate in Prosthodontics from the Naval Postgraduate Dental School (NPDS) in Bethesda, MD. He went on to complete a Maxillofacial Prosthetics Fellowship at NPDS and retired at the rank of Captain from the US Navy Dental Corps after 22 years of service. Dr. Synnott is a former director of both the U.S. Navy Maxillofacial Prosthetics Fellowship and Prosthodontic Residency programs. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics. He has lectured extensively, including topics covering the broad use of dental implants from replacing missing individual teeth to full mouth reconstruction. He has vast experience with veneers, crown and bridge for teeth and implants, as well as removable restorations such as dentures and partial dentures to restore function and aesthetics. Dr. Synnott is a knowledgeable and experienced clinician who is committed to providing the highest quality care for his patients. A prosthodontist by training, his practice is focused on providing aesthetic restorative dentistry using a multidisciplinary approach to achieve optimal restorations, dental health and a satisfied patient. He is very skilled at coordinating and providing complex care involving different dental and medical specialists.
