Maurice Salama, DMD

Dr. Maurice A. Salama completed his undergraduate studies at the State University of New York at Binghamton in 1985, where he received his BS in Biology. Dr. Salama received his DMD from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, where he later received his dual specialty certification in Orthodontics and Periodontics, as well as implant training at the Branemark Center at Penn. He was awarded the George Coslet and Richard Chase Scholarships at the University of Pennsylvania during his post-doctoral studies. Dr. Salama is currently on the faculties of the University of Pennsylvania and the Medical College of Georgia as Clinical Assistant Professor of Periodontics.

Henry Salama, DMD

Dr. Henry Salama completed his undergraduate education at the State University of New York at Binghamton where he received a BS in Biology. He earned his DMD from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Salama then pursued post-graduate specialties in Periodontics, Periodontal Prosthetics, and Fixed Prosthodontics as well as Implant Surgical Training and Implant Prosthetic Training.

David Garber, DMD

Dr. David Garber has a dual appointment at the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry, in Augusta Georgia, as Clinical Professor in the Department of Periodontics, as well as Clinical Professor in the Department of Oral Rehabilitation. He is also on the faculty of Louisiana State University as Visiting Professor in the Department of Prosthodontics.

Emil Verban, Jr., DDS

Dr. Verban received his dental degree from Loyola University School of Dentistry in Chicago, Illinois in 1976. He has published numerous articles and has developed surgical products used in implant dentistry. He maintains a private practice in Bloomington, Illinois.

Faizan Alawi, DDS

Dr. Alawi received his DDS degree from McGill University, completed a General Practice Residency at St. Barnabas Hospital, and Residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology at New York Hospital Medical Center of Queens. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology and is currently an assistant professor at the University of Pennsylvania Penn School of Dental Medicine.

Manuel De la Rosa, DDS, MS

Dr. De la Rosa received his D.D.S. from the University of Nuevo León in Monterrey, Mexico in 1992. Afterwards he graduated from the department of Periodontics at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, were he received a certificate in Periodontics and a M.S. degree. He then joined the department of Dental Implantology and Prosthodontics, were he completed a Fellowship program in Oral Implantology and Prosthodontics in 1997. Dr. De la Rosa maintains a private practice in periodontics and implantology in Mexico.

Georgios Romanos, DDS, PhD

Dr. Romanos received DDS and DMD degrees from the Athens University, Greece and the University of Berlin, Germany. He has degrees/certifications in Periodontics, Prosthodontics, Oral Surgery, and Implantology. Dr. Romanos is currently Professor of Clinical Dentistry at the Eastman Dental Center, University of Rochester and Director of the Unit of Laser Dentistry, Eastman Dental Center, University of Rochester. He has published over 60 articles in international peer reviewed journals and currently directs multiple clinical studies.
