Dr. Kurtzman is in private general practice in Silver Spring, Maryland and is a former Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Maryland, Department of Endodontics, Prosthetics and Operative Dentistry. He has lectured both nationally and internationally on the topics of Restorative dentistry, Endodontics and Implant surgery and prosthetics, removable and fixed prosthetics, Periodontics and has over 140 published articles.
Malmquist, Jay, DMD, FACD, FICD
Jay Malmquist, DMD, FACD, FICD
Dr. Malmquist is an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon with a private practice in Portland, Oregon. He is a graduate of the University of Oregon and the University of Oregon Dental School. He completed a rotating internship in the US Army and a residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Oregon Health Sciences University. He is a diplomat of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and completed seven years and a board examiner. He is the past Treasurer and past President of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He is currently a Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Oregon Health Sciences University.
Sohn, Dong-Seok, DDS, PhD
Dr. Dong-Seok Sohn is Professor and Chair, Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Daegu Catholic University, School of Medicine, Daegu, Korea. Dr. Sohn is Past president of ICOI Asia-Pacific Section(2005), Past Chairman, Board of Directors, ICOI Asia-Pacific Section.(2006), Founding President of Korean Society of Oral Implantologists-ICOI Korea(2005), Director of Implant C.E Course at Daegu Catholic University(1998~). Dr. Sohn is the author of numerous text books and peer reviewed articles.
Langer, Burton, DMD
Dr. Burton Langer earned his dental degree from Tuffs School of Dental Medicine. He received his Certificate in Periodontics and Masters Degree in Science from Boston University School of Graduate Dentistry in 1966. He was a former Associate Clinical Professor of Periodontics and the Director of Post Graduate Clinical Periodontics at Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. He is currently on the staff of Beth Israel Medical Center.
Hwang, Debby, DMD
Debby Hwang, DMD, is a published author and researcher in the field of dental implantology and periodontics. She received her dental degree cum laude from Harvard University and specialty training at the University of Michigan, where she won the Sigurd P. Ramfjord Award for Excellence and earned a nomination for the Dr. and Mrs. Gerald M. Kramer Scholar Award, a prestigious national prize. Currently, she maintains a private practice limited to periodontics in Fairfield, CT with Dr. Michael Sonick.
Wilcko, Tom, DDS
Dr. Wilcko received his certificate in Periodontics from Harvard University in 1975 and maintains a private practice in periodontics in Erie, Pennsylvania. He is presently a Clinical Associate Professor in Periodontics at Case Western University, Cleveland, Ohio and Consultant at the Naval Dental Center, Bethesda, Maryland. Dr. Wilcko and his brother, William Wilcko DDS, have developed and patented a rapid orthodontic technique with an emphasis on providing for a more structurally intact periodontium. Dr. Wilcko has lectured extensively both domestically and internationally and has co-authored over 2 dozen peer reviewed articles and research abstracts and two textbook chapters relating to this combined periodontal/orthodontic technique and related topics.
Del Fabbro, Massimo, PhD
Dr. Del Fabbro received his degree in Biology in 1989 at the University of Milano. Ph.D. in Human Physiology in 1994 at the University of Milano. Post-doctoral fellowship in 1995-1997 at the Institute of Physiology, University of Milano. Since 2002 he is a researcher and professor for the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Milano. He is presently Head of the Section of Oral Physiology at the Department of Health Technologies Istituto Ortopedico Galeazzi, University of Milano, Italy.
Noumbissi, Sammy, DDS, MS
Dr. Sammy S. Noumbissi received his D.D.S degree from Howard University College of Dentistry in 1998. As a dental student, he was invited to give a scientific research poster presentation at the IADR/AADR as a young investigator. Dr. Noumbissi then attended Loma Linda University’s prestigious three-year Advanced Education Program in Implant Dentistry. There he received his Certificate in Implant Dentistry in 2002 and a Master of Science degree in Oral Implantology in 2005. Dr. Noumbissi has extensive experience in implant and implant-related surgery. He has published abstracts and articles in per reviewed dental journals such as the Journal of Dental Research and the Journal of Oral Implantology.
Turkyilmaz, Ilser, DDS, PhD
Dr. Ilser Turkyilmaz obtained his dental degree from Hacettepe University, Ankara, Turkey in 1998 and PhD in 2004. Dr. Turkyilmaz worked as an instructor at Hacettepe University until he was invited by Goteborg University, Goteborg, Sweden for research collaborations. He worked in the Department of Biomaterials, Institute of Clinical Sciences, Sahlgrenska Academy, Goteborg University, Goteborg, Sweden in 2005. He returned to Hacettepe University at the end of 2005 and then worked in private practice in Ankara from February 2006 to May 2007. Dr. Turkyilmaz is currently an assistant professor in the Department of Prosthodontics at the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio, Texas,
Wolfinger, Glenn, DDS, FACP
Dr. Glenn Wolfinger is a Board Certified Prosthodontist practicing at Prosthodontics Intermedica in Fort Washington, Pennsylvania. He graduated Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and completed a residency in combined prosthodontics through the VA-Harvard Program in Boston; Former Assistant Clinical Professor, Department of Prosthodontics, Temple University School of Dentistry; Staff Prosthodontist, Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Philadelphia; Prosthodontic Instructor, Episcopal Hospital Pediatric Dental Residency Program, Philadelphia; Clinical Instructor in Dept. of Prosthodontics at Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery; Past-President of the Pennsylvania Prosthodontic Association; Member of numerous other dental organizations.
