Years ago some of us oldtimers used balloon tissue expanders to make room for ridge augmentation. Does anyone still do this. Who do you get the tissue expanders from.
Can you be a little more specific on what you are looking for? Are you refering to balloon sinus lift technique (osseous technologies) or ridge expanders (MIS, BTI etc)?
May moons ago this technique was used but fell out of favor.
I am proposing to expand the soft tissue and place an BMP sponge or Stem cell bone graft into the buccal balloon effect to allow for ridge augmentation without having to coronally reposition the intra-oral tissues nor use a membrane.
Does anyone know who might still make these balloons?

Tissue expanders for augmentation???? Can you be more specific
Dear RBWAG
Can you be a little more specific on what you are looking for? Are you refering to balloon sinus lift technique (osseous technologies) or ridge expanders (MIS, BTI etc)?
ridge expanders.
Small balloons were placed intraorally to expand the oral mucosa so that bone grafts could be placed to augment a ridge vertically.
Any one know who might be making these balloons
Interesting...never heard of this.
Heard of balloons for sinus lifts, but not in the context of oral mucosa expansion.
soft tissue expanders.

Tissue Expanders to increase vestibular depth
I use tissue expanders to increase the vestibule. They work well.
Tissue expanders: How do the work?
How do they work and where can I get some?
